Dear Potential New Members,

Welcome to Ole Miss! My name is Lucy Kelley, and I have the honor of serving as the Vice President of Wellness and Belonging for the University of Mississippi College Panhellenic Council. I am overjoyed that you are considering joining our Greek community!

As you prepare for this new chapter of life, I want to assure you that there is a place for you here. Our Greek community is built on sisterhood, scholarship, service, and leadership. These values help to unite us as one big community, but they also inspire us to bring our own unique perspectives to the table. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to be their authentic selves. No matter who you are or where you come from, there is always a place for you in our Greek community.

If you are considering joining our Panhellenic community, I urge you to go into the experience with an open mind and an open heart. I encourage you to ask questions, be present in conversations, and embrace all that Greek life has to offer. Most importantly, always remember to be yourself. Each chapter on this campus has their own unique sisterhood and values, and there is truly a home for everyone.

As exciting as recruitment is, it can also be equally as stressful. Please remember to take care of yourself, both physically and mentally. If at any point throughout the week you have concerns or need support, please know that I, along with so many others, are here for you. We are committed to ensuring that all PNMs experience a positive, welcoming, and inclusive recruitment. You are not alone, and you will find a community of people ready to inspire and uplift you every step of the way!

I cannot wait to see all that you accomplish throughout your time here at Ole Miss and in our Panhellenic community! I hope that you find a home that inspires you and challenges you to be the best version of yourself. No matter where you end up, I hope you know that you are already a valued member of the Ole Miss community. I wish you the best of luck throughout recruitment and your entire college experience!

Kindly,

Lucy Kelley Vice President of Wellness and Belonging
